Regarding Changes to the LMS Attendance System
Recently, the university LMS has strengthened enforcement against abnormal viewing using external speed-up programs.
Some users may be concerned about whether Dotbugi's auto-play feature falls under this category, so we'd like to clarify.
Dotbugi is NOT a Speed-Up Program
Here's how Dotbugi's auto-play works compared to speed-up programs:
| External Speed-Up Programs | Dotbugi Auto-Play | |
|---|---|---|
| Playback Speed | Changed to 2x, 4x, etc. | Maintains 1x (original speed) |
| Playback Time Manipulation | Shortens playback time | No manipulation |
| LMS Records | Mismatch with actual study time | Playback time = Study time |
| Attendance | Risk of rejection | Normally recognized |
What Dotbugi Does
- Automatically plays unwatched lectures in sequence (click automation)
- Automatically skips already attended lectures
- Resumes playback from previously watched position
What Dotbugi Does NOT Do
- Change video playback speed
- Manipulate playback time or study records
- Bypass or tamper with the LMS system
Summary
Dotbugi operates exactly the same as manually pressing the play button yourself. It simply plays multiple lectures in sequence as a convenience feature and does not interfere with video speed or study records in any way.
